Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! My name is Aubrey Brandle-Regina and I am excited to begin my 20th year of teaching with your child! As I get to know you and your child I felt it was important to give you some background information about me personally as well as professionally. I am originally from New Jersey where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. My first teaching experience was in an integrated Preschool program. I also taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with special needs. In addition to these experiences I interned with Eden Institute in Princeton, N.J. where I worked with preschool and school aged children with Autism. Following my internship I worked at Eden Institute as a consultant and have had over 20 years experience working with individuals with Autism.

Thirteen years ago I moved to Raleigh, NC and joined the staff at Forestville for the 2006-2007 school year as the Pre-K Special Education Teacher. The past few years I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Kristian Wontroba, our Speech and Language Pathologist and Erin Hardee our Occupational Therapist. We welcome back Mrs. Colette Parker, a Speech and Language Pathologist who has joined our team part time for the 19-20 school year. She will be working with some of our Pre-K students. I also couldn’t be more appreciative of my teacher assistant Paula Brewington. I feel very fortunate to work with these individuals on a daily basis!

I really look forward to witnessing the growth your child is going to make this year. My Husband, 18 year old Daughter, and 4 pups also look forward to the many celebrations of growth that I share about your children when I make my way home!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have at any time.

Here’s to the start of a great year!
