Fridays with Families
The goal of family school partnership within Wake County Preschool Programs is to build relationships in order to create an ongoing, two-way partnership between a child’s family and their school family. We encourage family participation, collaboration, and engagement in all of our programs, and we recognize that this partnership is critical to your child’s success.
Every Friday, for the entire school year, is dedicated to building a family school partnership through group community experiences, individualized community experiences, parent informational workshops, parent coaching sessions, parent conferences, and individualized education plan meetings to discuss progress and formulate goals for the year ahead.
To allow time for you to plan for these family school partnership activities I have listed every Friday between now and Winter Break with what activities we will be doing. If you require a note for your employer regarding the reason you are requesting off to join us for these activities I would be more than happy to provide one for you.

10/4- Parents will meet us in the bus loop with their children to attend the Community Helpers visit from 9:30-10:30

10/18-Parent workshop on the Importance of routines from 9:45-11:30 in room 206
*Children may come but this is for parents.
10/25-Family School Partnership activity at Marbles-9:15-?
*All family members are FREE
11/1, 11/8, 11/15-Parent conferences in room 206
11/22- Social Skills Building Playgroup with families at 10:30 am in room 206
12/13-Family school partnership lunch and Social Skills Building Playgroup at Knightdale Chick Fil A at 11:30-?
**Thursday, 12/19-Parents will join us for an in class celebration of our Tree Study-AM Class-11 am
